What a day it was to skype the family and to see Jonah and call Elizabeth!
It is such a blessing to be able to talk to my family even though we are on the opposite sides of the Earth. What a blessing it is!
So this week was a pretty great week with a lot of miracles, we definitely saw the hand of the Lord in the wonderful Clementi area. So Friday, Elder Jones was calling through the phone and a man named Kumar said he would love to meet on Saturday, so of course we agreed. It was on exchanges, so I wasn't there for it, but Elder Jones and Elder Young went to the family's home and they felt so happy and at peace and loved the message of the Restoration. The interesting thing was, they had no idea how their number came to our phone. They have never seen missionaries, didn't know about the Book of Mormon, and didn't have any clue how we could have their number. Miracles here in Clementi!
The hand of God is working hard here and we are grateful to be His instruments. Elder Jones and I are feeling great and love the Ward here.
Another miracle we saw was with Boon. We went to a Less Active's home and knocked and turned out they weren't home. But guess who was home?!?!?! BOON WAS THERE! He was in prison off and on for over 20 years and wants to change his life. He is married now and is scared about going back into his old ways. But he wants to learn and we are going to help him out!
Love the missionary work here and love Singapore!
HAPPY MOTHER"S DAY MADRE!!!!!!!! I love you so much and I hope you know that. Thank you for your love and your letters and everything. I can't wait to give you a hug next Mother's Day :-)
