It's been pretty great this week!
This past week of transfers has been amazing with our whole District staying except one of the Assistants and one sister left. Gonna miss Sister Reitt and Elder Wadsworth :( but sister Lawless is back in being in the same District (we were together while I was in 1st Ward) and Elder Allen was half trained by Elder Egbert, so quarter brothers(?) but he is a chamo, such a great leader. This District is the best in the world!!!! We aren't letting up the pace and the Miracles keep flowing in!!!
Just reporting last night was so spiritually charged with enthusiasm, it was way cool. Just way happy to be a District Leader again, best calling in the mission, and I love it so much. This past week on the MRT, while I was calling some of the District members for mid week reporting while Elder Wang started to sit down. While sitting down, an old chinese Uncle reaches up and starts blabbering in Chinese and then pulls out a 10 year old pass along card out of his shirt pocket. Who knows how long that card must have been there or why he kept it there. We were blown away, Elder Wang spoke the China to him and we have an appointment tomorrow! And there is so much more!
Hua Yong is progressing now and we finally put him on date!!! WE had a sick lesson at Brother Alaster's home and Brother Alaster basically taught the entire thing about why we should be baptized. I love when members just feel the Spirit and go with it, I learned so much from him and Hua Yong LOVED IT! So he is on date for April 25th!
We got a call mid-week from sister Maddie saying she doesn't want to meet for the next two months. Well we aint gonna have that. so we baked her some cookies and went over to her home way late (but still obedient) and just gave her cookies and talked on her door step for 30 minutes. Sometimes, all our investigators need is just us to show them we care and we love them. By the end of talking to her, she agreed to come to church (which she did) and wants to come the next week as well! She has been taught for about a year now but has only come to church in the past transfer, so making huge leaps and bounds!
Way great things are happening in Singapore, we are trying to get this place hopping like it is in the Philippines and Brazil. We're getting there :)
Elder Wang and I are getting the work picked up and focusing now on finding new investigators. Just trying to get Clementi up and going!
