Week 51 Satu Singapore

Monday April 27th, 2015

One Singapore!!!

Singapore is now one zone! It is insane!!!! It's the largest zone in the mission and it is about to revolutionize the mission! #PartyIsland

It's been a lot of stress, not gonna lie, but all in all very awesome week!

On Monday we learned we are moving and closing the Yew Tee house, and moving to the Chinese Gardens (which is a massive park that all the tourists go too, and we get to run it every morning!). We had to stay up pretty late Monday and Tuesday night to pack and clean.

Tuesday was crazy. We had District Meeting and then had Mala Xiong Guo for lunch since it was Elder Liddell's last lunch, and then went and had correlations with the STL's and the Clementi Sisters (their area is closing and we have to take over their investigators and area). All of a sudden, the missionaries going home that transfer came in, and I saw Elder Hays and Elder Egbert, some of the bossest missionaries!!! Elder Hays was my ZL (Zone Leader) in Kuala Lumpur and Egbert my trainer. I love and respect those guys, I will miss them so much! Love them to death! :(

Wednesday we moved houses and we picked up Elder Jones since he was flying in from KL. And then we went to work! We talked about the area and the District for the day, trying to set some goals and visions, and went to visit Brother Titus to give him a blessing. District work has been stressful, there are 16 members of the District including the Assistants, and it is stresssssfullllll! But luckily, it is the best District in the mission! And we are seeing miracles!

Thursday was weekly planing and then met Sarah, the sister's investigator and put her on date for June 6th! The next day, met with Saroj and put her on date for May 30th! We then met with a HQ referral named Jean Pierce who is Chinese-Singaporean/Spanish-French Canadian, who's father is a LA member of the church and wants to come back. Jean Pierce accepted baptism for the 23rd!

Miracles in Clementi! We are just so excited for the upcoming transfer, we really want to see some baptisms here and the world to change! Satu Singapore! Love it here though, Elder Jones is from Australia and is a boss! He is a work horse and we are ready to work it here!

Loving it in Singapore! Thank you for all of your prayers, we really appreciate it out here!

Elder Holmes

Saying Goodbye to some as they go home and others as they leave for transfers
